Bill is thrilled to finally have the opportunity to work with his friends at Peninsula Players. He has been an actor in the Chicago theater community for more than 20 years, during which time he has performed on the stages of Chicago Shakespeare, Goodman, Court, Steppenwolf, TimeLine, Victory Gardens, Pegasus Players and Strawdog theaters, among many others. He was most recently seen as Maish Resnik in Shattered Globe’s acclaimed production of Requiem for a Heavyweight, prior to which he co-starred with Steppenwolf’s Bob Breuler in the world premiere production of The Brother. In recent years he has been seen in the Chicago Shakespeare productions of Hamlet, A Flea in her Ear, Much Ado About Nothing, Hecuba, and Marionette Macbeth. Other productions of note: Eclipse Theatre – Rumors, Lost in Yonkers (Jeff Citation nomination – Best Supporting Actor); TimeLine Theatre – This Happy Breed (Jeff Citations – Best Ensemble & Best Production), Hauptmann (Jeff Citation – Best Production); Strawdog Theatre and Theatre on the Lake – Three Sisters (After Dark Award- Best Ensemble); Stage Left – Leander Stillwell (Jeff Citation – Best Ensemble). A special thanks to Greg V. for this opportunity to come play in the woods.
