Pre-Show Seminars

On select evenings during the season, Peninsula Players Theatre hosts pre-show seminars focusing on a wide range of topics.  These seminars are free of charge and open to the public but tickets to that evening’s production are strongly recommended. All pre-show seminars take place at 6:30 p.m. inside the theater.  Seminars for our 2017 season have yet to be scheduled.  Here is a sampling of last season’s seminars.

Tuesday, June 28, 2016– Join us for a discussion with Door County Humane Society Assistant Animal Care Coordinator Debbie Barnes and her therapy dog, Timber. Debbie will discuss the importance of service animals and their roles in people’s lives.

Saturday, July 23, 2016– Join us for a discussion with Agatha Christie expert Dr. Christopher Chan. Dr. Chan will discuss the history of The Hollow and the Queen of Crime, herself.

Friday, August 5, 2016- Join us for a discussion with The Full Monty Director Greg Vinkler and Musical Director Valerie Maze, as they discuss the process of producing a musical.

Wednesday, August 24, 2016- Join us for a discussion with Door Library Director Becca Berger as she talks about the history of censorship and banned books.
